Moving on and Laying the Tracks
“The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” – Walt Disney
The above quote by Walt Disney, an American entrepreneur, animator, voice actor, film producer and creator of Mickey Mouse accurately summed up what DATAVLT has been busy with the past week “doing”. From juggling finite resources and conducting market research to building the right business partnerships while working urgently and productively at the same time.
Here are this week’s top updates…
Meaningful presence at Echelon Asia Summit 2018
In last week’s digest, we shared with the community about our impending participation at Echelon Asia Summit – e27’s flagship event empowering insights, connections, talent, funding opportunities for Asia’s tech ecosystem. Arguably, Asia’s most vibrant tech ecosystem boasting over 5,000 attendees – and we’re glad that DATAVLT was also onsite and ready to do business!
DATAVLT arrived in the afternoon of Wed (27th June) at the Singapore expo to begin setting up our booth and to prepare for the two days of insightful networking. It was heartening to have held engaging discussions around data analytics and blockchain with potential customers, investors, students and other members of the tech ecosystem, some of whom are ready to take that next step with us on our Pilot Partners Program!
While on this note, we’re still looking for partners to influence the application build, user experience and interface design as part of our Pilot Partners Program. Feel free to refer any contacts whom might be keen to be part of this journey with us or channel them to www.datavlt.com/pilot.
There is still a lot of work to be done but the team came away from the event with renewed vigour and energy, determined to help SMEs make better use of business data to their advantage.
Here’s a short video of what we’ve been up to while at Echelon:
The results are out! We have a new token name – DVLT!
Thank you for participating in our recently concluded token naming contest which ended on 28 Jun 2018! After a week of putting our heads together, community members have decided to name our new token – DVLT!
We’ve received over a 170 votes DVLT and we begin notifying winners by batches through email. We absolutely love the new name you have helped select!
DATAVLT’s technical team have been ramping up activities on the API front. We’re pleased to share that the gateway for our wallet has been set up and it is almost ready for deployment.
Backend stress testing has been successfully completed and we’re onto the validation phase for KYC already! Stay tuned, there’s more to come…
